- Assist in the maintenance of the School’s data network, data centres and AV infrastructure.

Key Competencies
- - The school relies heavily on automation so the ability to write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code is essential.
- Good working knowledge of a scripting language (eg Python / Perl).
- Good working knowledge of networking (eg. dns, routing, firewalls)
- Good working knowledge of Linux
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey information in a clear, concise manner
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise a busy and demanding workload
- Proven ability to work productively as part of a team and build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Active interest in continuing professional development
Desired Qualifications
- - A university degree in a relevant technical area or extensive relevant work experience.-
- Good working knowledge of AV equipment, including matrix switches, programmable control panels.
- Working knowledge of software development tools and practices (eg git / svn)
