About the Vacancy

The Health and Wellbeing Adviser will play a crucial role in continuing to deliver tailored support to individuals and groups, empowering them to improve their health and wellbeing. The role involves working collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and partner organisations to ensure the project achieves its objectives.

About the Salary

Salary pro rata for 24 hours a week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to clients, addressing their physical, emotional, and social well-being needs.
  • Deliver health promotion activities, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Offer practical advice and guidance on healthy living, mental health support, and accessing relevant
    services.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to encourage engagement and trust.
  • Work closely with project staff and community organisations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, adjusting action plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Support the development and delivery of project-related reports, case studies, and evaluation materials.
  • To undertake any other duties within the scope of this job description, at your normal place of work or at any other events organised by the organisation.

Key Competencies

  • Proven experience in health and wellbeing, community support, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others to make positive lifestyle changes.
  • Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Experience in delivering workshops or group sessions is highly desirable. Empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental approach.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Be able to speak in Urdu/Punjabi

Key Qualifications

Educated to Degree level. Additional training in mental health first aid, health coaching, or similar areas is advantageous.
