Fundraising Leader – Female Volunteer

Common Thread Vision seeks to bring people from all backgrounds and ethnic minority community members from the Southside and surrounding areas to participate in health and wellbeing activities, reducing social isolation and loneliness.

The Project provides a supportive, respectful, and culturally safe space for everyone. Over 50+ have a language problem, this group gives them a sense of belonging.
They deliver activities to promote health and wellbeing and foster a greater community understanding.

To help us develop fundraising ideas, support fundraising activities and events, and explore opportunities to raise funds for Common Thread Vision. Common Thread Vision is looking for a female volunteer for this role as it will involve supporting our women’s community activities and working closely with the women involved in our organisation and events.

• You’ll bring women together in event planning and coordination
• Encourage ideas and help organise enjoyable community fundraising activities such as
  • coffee mornings
  • bake sales
  • other fundraising events.
• Receive support from the Chair and volunteer flexibly around your other commitments.

• Aged 18+.
• Friendly, organised and enthusiastic.
• Comfortable bringing people together and encouraging others.
• Happy working with and supporting other women.
