Graduate Data Analyst

At the Student Loans Company, we process almost 1.5 million student finance applications every year. We dedicate ourselves to supporting 9.4 million customers and administer a loan book valued at £227.5 billion.

Whether a customer is applying for student finance or repaying their loan we want to make their experience as easy as possible, at the same time as delivering the exceptional service that they deserve.

As a Graduate Data Analyst, you’ll play a meaningful role in delivering key projects across the Data CoE. This 24‑month rotational programme gives you hands‑on experience across critical business areas while you develop skills in data management, reporting, analytics, and performance insight.

You’ll rotate across four key teams

• Data Management, Business Intelligence, Operations
• Business Intelligence
• Repayments Insight & Performance

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore different areas of data before choosing where you want to specialise, all while working on projects that support students across all four nations of the UK.

Desirable

• Understanding of Data Management principles (e.g. data definition, data lineage/CRUD)
• Familiarity with dashboard and report development and data visualization principles
• Experience with data analysis or reporting tools and coding languages (e.g., Tableau, SQL)
